Semester 1:
Before school. Bomb threat before we even got into the building, which made for some pointless standing/walking around. I was literally hot and bothered, but at least I didn't have a car to park and then have to re-park because the police had the parking lots closed off. Also noticed that we have an incredibly dumb regarding bathrooms--you have to wear a dorky yellow vest, like, highlighter yellow, in order to go. Ugh. And Winchester has changed a lot over the summer. She has a job now (no fair! I've been applying everywhere) and contact lenses, which I'm really not used to. Personality-wise, she's the same old Winchester, though.
Mod 1: Sociology
Nondescript, seems like a good class. The teacher is nice (good thing, considering I have him second mod too) and the course seems lively enough.
Mod 2: AP Human Geography
Score of all scores, I have Greaser and Werewolf in this class! The teacher gave me the job of passing out random seat assignments, but I made sure the boys were near me so we could chat. Senioritis much? Besides, I like the course, so I think I'll do all right.
Lunch
I have lunch with Greaser and Fedling. Haven't seen hide or hair of Darwin, now that I think of it. Anyway, it looks like a good shift--Greaser's antics and Fedling's intelligent conversation are both welcome.
Mod 3: German 1
Mostly freshies, but I like that; I feel weirdly superior. I'm surprised at how much German I understand right off the bat. As usual, pronounciation is what kills me. Same with French. Guess I need to keep practicing.
Mod 4: Psychology
Very small class, only eleven kids. They seem friendly if not my usual crowd--a lot of 'oh heyll no, boi' kind of girls, but not dumb, just loud. I think it'll be okay even though I don't have any friend-friends in there.
So far, senior year looks to be quiet but satisfying. Then again, drama club hasn't started yet, so we shall see.
